Grand Ledge MI – The Grand Ledge Lights Festival is getting a big holiday upgrade this weekend.

A last-minute change has moved the event from Lincoln Brick Park to Fitzgerald Park, and with that change comes even better news — the event is now completely FREE for everyone to enjoy. 🎄

The festival will take place on Saturday, December 13, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., and families will want to get there early.

Why?

Because a very special guest will be flying in by sleigh just for Grand Ledge.

Yes… that guest.

The one who wears red, carries a big bag, and checks his list not once but twice.

Organizers say the surprise visitor will make an appearance during the festival, and kids can look forward to a magical moment under the winter lights.

The park will be filled with glowing trees, holiday cheer, and plenty of places for families to explore.

The move to Fitzgerald Park allows more space for guests and makes entry easier for everyone.

This change of location happened fast, but Eaton County Parks says it turned out to be a blessing.

Since the festival is now at Fitzgerald Park, the planned entry fee has been removed — making this year’s event open and free for the whole community.

It’s a perfect chance for families to bundle up, enjoy the lights, and take in the holiday spirit without worrying about tickets.
