Good morning Ledgers! Have you dug yourself out from the big storm that passed through this past weekend? By now I’m sure you have, but this also a great time to make sure that when you’re clearing your drive way to make sure that you also do the sidewalks too! I’ve been a victim of slip and falls because some people did not clear the sidewalks.

Shaltry Becomes a Spartan: GLHS Thrower Commits to MSU 🟢⚪
Grand Ledge is celebrating a huge moment this week 🎉.
Jackson Shaltry, one of the top throwers in Grand Ledge High School history, has officially committed to continue his track and field career at Michigan State University after his senior year at GLHS.

Jackson has been a major part of the Comets’ success.
His powerful throws in the shot put and discus helped Grand Ledge win league and regional titles last spring.
He is also already one of the best discus throwers the school has ever seen, holding the 2nd-best mark in GLHS history with a throw of 164 feet, 2 inches.
His coach, Rick Whitten, says Jackson’s progress comes from hard work and determination. “Jackson has worked extremely hard throughout his entire career at Grand Ledge,” Whitten said. “He throws outside year-round, no matter the weather. That has helped him become one of the best throwers in the state. We are proud of him and can’t wait to see what he does his senior season and next year as a Spartan.”
As Jackson steps into his final year at GLHS, the whole Grand Ledge community is cheering him on.
His future is bright, and his next chapter in green and white starts soon. 💚
Congratulations, Jackson!

A Peaceful Riverfront Retreat Right in Grand Ledge 🌅

If you’ve been waiting for that perfect Grand Ledge home…the one with charm, space, and a rare slice of riverfront beauty…this week’s Home of the Week is the one you’ll want to see.
Sitting proudly on one full acre, this 3-bed, 2-bath, 2,014-sq-ft home is a true hidden gem.
Built in 1972 and loved by the same owner for decades, it has been cared for with the kind of attention you can’t put a price on.
With an estimated monthly cost of $2,446/mo, this home brings the peaceful lifestyle people dream about, all within the Grand Ledge School District.
What makes this place shine is its 144 feet of Grand River frontage (a rare find anywhere, let alone right off West Main Street.)
From sunrise reflections to quiet evening sunsets, the views here feel like living inside a postcard.
Step inside and you’re greeted by a bright, warm layout.
All three bedrooms sit conveniently on the first floor along with a full bath and first-floor laundry.
A huge plus for easy living.
Under every piece of carpet on the main floor is beautiful hardwood flooring, ready to shine again with just a little love.
The showstopper?
The 4-season room.
With tall windows overlooking the river, it stays bright and cozy year-round and quickly becomes everyone’s favorite spot in the house.
Whether you want to sip morning coffee or watch the snow fall over the water, this room gives you front-row seats.
Head downstairs to the walk-out lower level, and you’ll find even more space to spread out.
A large family room offers amazing views of the river, and the second kitchen makes this area perfect for entertaining, long-term guests, or even turning the lower level into its own living space.
Two additional rooms add flexibility or use them as a home office, craft room, workout space, or rec room.
The property also includes a shared driveway with an easement in place, making access simple and secure.
Homes like this don’t come along often, especially ones this well loved, move-in ready, and sitting on such a special piece of riverfront land.
If you’ve been dreaming of peaceful living, natural beauty, and a home full of character, this is your chance.
Schedule your showing today and see why this West Main treasure is the talk of the week. 🏡💙
