Get your pumpkins β€” and your throwing arm β€” ready! Eaton County Parks & Recreation is bringing back one of Grand Ledge’s most delightfully messy fall traditions: the Second Annual Pumpkin Chuck at Fitzgerald Park!

Join the fun at the Park Office (133 Fitzgerald Park Dr, Grand Ledge) for a full afternoon of pumpkin-flinging, rolling, and family-friendly festivities. The event runs for five hours and promises laughs, competition, and plenty of pumpkin guts! 🎯

πŸŽƒ What’s the Pumpkin Chuck?

It’s simple β€” bring your leftover Halloween pumpkin and catapult it into the air! Watch it soar (and splatter!) across the park. It’s the most fun way to say goodbye to spooky season and hello to cozy November vibes.

  • Your first launch is free if you bring your own pumpkin!

  • Extra launches are just $2 per pumpkin.

  • Prefer rolling to launching? Try the Pumpkin Rolling Course, where contestants roll their pumpkins down the sledding hill β€” prizes go to the farthest roller! πŸ†

🍁 Food, Fun, and Refreshments

The event also features refreshments and beverages, plus a food truck (TBD) offering warm, seasonal bites to keep you fueled for all that chucking and cheering. β˜•πŸŒ
