Grand Ledge might be a small town, but there’s always something big happening. Whether you love shopping at the market, sipping coffee with neighbors, or celebrating fall in true Michigan style, here’s your guide to what’s going on this week around town.

πŸ™οΈ Upcoming Events

The week kicks off on Monday, October 6th, the Pompon teams will be holding practice sessions from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the City Hall Gymnasium. These young athletes bring tons of energy and school spirit to every routine β€” stop by to cheer them on or simply enjoy the excitement of a community program in motion.

The following evening, Tuesday, October 7th, the Pompon teams will return for another round of practice from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the same location. Grand Ledge has a long history of supporting its youth programs, and it’s always uplifting to see that tradition continue.

Midweek, on Wednesday, October 8th, the Grand Ledge Chamber of Commerce will host its Coffee & Conversation event from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM in Community Room B101 at City Hall. This is a relaxed opportunity for local business owners, community leaders, and residents to share ideas, network, and discuss what’s happening in town over a cup of locally brewed coffee.

Then, as the weekend rolls around again, get ready for two of the season’s biggest highlights β€” Beer Fest and Fall Fest, both taking place on Saturday, October 11th. The Beer Fest at Fitzgerald Memorial Field will feature regional craft brewers, live music, and great food, offering adults a chance to unwind and enjoy the autumn air. Meanwhile, Fall Fest at Jaycee Park promises family-friendly fun, with seasonal games, pumpkin decorating, and community vendors.
