Get ready, Grand Ledge — things are about to get spicy! This Friday, October 17, 2025, the Sons of the American Legion (SAL) are hosting their annual Chili Cook-Off at American Legion Post 48, and everyone’s invited to join the fun, the food, and the friendly competition.
📍 Location: American Legion Post 48, 731 N Clinton St, Grand Ledge, MI 48837🕕 Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM💲 Cost: $12 per adult | $6 per child (12 and under)
🍲 What’s Cooking
Members of the SAL will go head-to-head to see who can claim the title of Best Chili in Grand Ledge. Guests can enjoy homemade chili, a fresh salad bar, and delicious desserts and cornbread donated by the Auxiliary.
The best part? You get to help pick the winner! Each attendee will cast their vote to crown this year’s Chili Master, who’ll earn a year’s worth of bragging rights.
“It’s all in good fun,” said one Legion member. “But when that trophy comes out, things get serious fast!”
